Silent night.
Drifting along amidst the stars, a slumbering moon rests peacefully in the cradle of a hand made sterling silver crescent. Complete with handmade shooting stars, clouds and sparkling night sky inspired gemstones. Finished with a single topaz "raindrop".
I have picked out the star details by overlaying pure gold onto the silver using keum boo, an ancient Korean hand gilding technique.
Gemstones/Enamels: carved mother of pearl, topaz, citrine and created sapphire.
